Covenant of Chactemal Estates
This is a binding agreement between the purchaser of Chactemal lots and the
Estate. It is designed to maintain your property value and is the agreement
among the property owners who sign into this Covenant.
- No farm animals allowed into the Estate.
- Dogs and other pets must be fenced or chained.
- No dog fights allowed in the Estate.
- Dogs or other animals found wondering in the estate will be impounded.
- No drugs allowed or drug vending allowed in the Estate.
- No businesses allowed except in designated commercial areas.
- Designated commercial areas are lots opening to public roads outside the
estate.
- Derelict vehicles will be towed away and charged to the owner.
- Parking of trailers or trucks on street curbs is not allowed. Such vehicles
will be towed away and impounded.
- Buildings no less than 800 sq ft allowed to be constructed on the property.
- Prefabricated Mennonite metal houses or plywood houses are not allowed on
the property.
- Garbage disposal is offered by private contractor and is the responsibility
of individual property owners.
- Maintenance and security can be arranged by estate manager for absentee
property owners.
- Land owners are responsible for the behavior of their tenants.
- All tenants must be aware and sign on to these covenants as part of their
tenant agreement.
- The maintenance of empty lots is the responsibility of the property owner.
- Overgrown lots will be cleaned and the cost billed to the property owner.
